Maritime Centre Vellamo is an attraction well worth a visit. The museums of the Maritime Centre Vellamo are full of stories of the sea and the local region. A single ticket will provide you with access to the exhibitions of the Maritime Museum of Finland and the Museum of Kymenlaakso. Experience history in a variety of ways: listen, look, smell, touch and play. There are so many things to see and do that visitors of all ages can easily spend a full day at the museum.
The Information Centre Vellamo is a research and learning centre open to all audiences, offering library and archive services. The Restaurant Laakonki and the museum shop Plootu complete the experience with their many attractions.
Meeting and event organisers can book Vellamo's majestic boat hall, its 200-seat auditorium or smaller meeting rooms.
